We’re happy to say we had some of the local (Bullhead City/Fort Mohave) homeschool group over yesterday for a Valentine’s party, thanks to their host Debra for reaching out and setting it up.
It’s wonderful to have such a great community of homeschoolers to share in these kinds of activities. So many families in our area choose homeschool, and we do too, for a variety of reasons. What’s great is that group is quite active so if you’re a homeschool family and haven’t linked up yet, I definitely recommend it. For the celebration, Debra planned a couple of adorable arts and crafts, as well as passing out Valentines, enjoying the games and activities around here, and having pizza and snacks. Everywhere you looked, it was all smiles and laughter, which is the surest sign of a successful get together.
For our part we created a folklore photoset using repurposed balloons from one of the weekend parties. Thank you for putting it to use and taking some great photos. We look forward to having the homeschool group back for other events in the future, and appreciate that our own homeschool children can enjoy social time and festivities with other kids and families.
